Gathering – 2026
The Leyland Society Gathering - Sunday 28th June 2026
Although the day started off a bit wet and windy in typical Lancashire style, by 11am the sun shone on a very popular event. Combined with the Family Fun Day organised by Leyland Trucks the event attracted crowds of between one and two thousand. There were many side shows as well as the Gathering and our sales stand was busy all day.
An excellent turn out of vehicles – predominantly lorries this year – attracted much attention and thanks to Leyland Trucks for the food, drink and candy floss they provided!
It was also a grand opportunity for ex-Leyland staff to reunite – our webmaster being recognised by his Training Manager who he last saw 51 years earlier!
